Survey Copter (an Airbus subsidiary) has just created a new position for a Safety and Certification Engineer on a sandwich course. You will be joining the Airworthiness Office team.

Survey Copter, with 50 employees, is located in Pierrelatte (Drôme). A 100% subsidiary of AIRBUS Defence and Space since 2011, our family-owned company designs and produces mini-UAV systems. These aircraft drones are perfectly suited to missions requiring rapid coverage of a large area or distance, and are intended for both military and civilian use.

Missions and responsibilities

You will be involved in the following main activities:

Carrying out operational safety studies on new Survey Copter products or their upgrades.
Participate in certification activities with civil and military authorities for new Survey Copter products or their evolutions.
Monitor the airworthiness of Survey Copter products
Participate in monitoring regulatory changes
Maintain and develop the airworthiness repository
Contribute to flight safety, product and organizational compliance.

Skills and experience required

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:


Mastery of office software and operational safety,
Negotiation skills in French and fluency in English.

This position requires rigor, curiosity, tenacity and teamwork.
