Survey Copter (an Airbus subsidiary) has just opened up a position for a Draughtsman/Project Manager. You will be joining the Design Office team.

Survey Copter has 53 employees and is based in Pierrelatte (Drôme). A 100% subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space since 2011, our family-run company designs and produces mini-UAS. These aircraft drones are perfectly suited to missions requiring rapid coverage of a large distance or area and are intended for both military and civilian use.

Missions and responsibilities

Reporting to the Design Office Manager, you will be responsible for the following main activities :



Ø Design of mechanical and interface parts in 3D (inventor software) ;

Ø Creation and management of 3D assemblies;

Ø Drawing up simple parts and assemblies;

Ø Participation in discussions on future concept studies (new products);

Ø Continuous improvement projects within the Design Office (improvements to current processes or procedures).

Skills and experience required

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:


- BTS/DUT in industrial product design;

- At least 2 years' experience;

- You are familiar with 3D design software (Inventor, Catia, Solidworks, etc.);

- You are familiar with 3D design, 3D modelling and drawing;

- You are familiar with toleranced and GPS dimensions and basic mechanical sizing

dimensioning;

- You are also familiar with machining and composite materials manufacturing constraints.
