Survey Copter (an Airbus subsidiary) has just opened two positions for Electronics Design Engineers. You will be joining the Design Office team.
Survey Copter, with 52 employees, is located in Pierrelatte (Drôme). A 100% subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space since 2011, our family-owned company designs and produces mini-UAV systems. These aircraft drones are perfectly suited to missions requiring rapid coverage of a large area or distance, and are intended for both military and civilian use.

Missions and responsibilities
Reporting to the Design Office Manager, you will be responsible for the following main activities:
Ø Define, select and implement off-the-shelf electronic systems (e.g. radio communication systems, GPS, video modules, IR, etc.).
Ø Define and check wiring harnesses and connectors to interconnect the various electronic sub-assemblies.
Ø Design in CAD the electronic boards required in the systems developed by the company (architecture, schematics and routing).
Ø Design the software embedded in the electronic boards of the systems developed by the company.
Ø Define specifications and monitor the development of equipment purchased to specifications.
Ø Participate in technical meetings with suppliers
Ø Document definition and design justification
Ø Write test plans, test procedures, test reports and technical notes for internal and external customers.
Ø Develop test benches for electronic boards, power and HF systems
Ø Analyze test results, define action plans and monitor their implementation
Ø Analyze and process technical facts
Skills and experience required
We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:
- An engineering degree (or equivalent) in electronics.
- Young beginners accepted
- Experience in the use of Labview and Matlab software, as well as in C design, mandatory
- Mastery of analog and digital electronic board design
- Knowledge of HF and communication networks (IP, etc.)
- Notions in EMC
- Technical English
This position requires rigor, adaptability and teamwork.
